Additional steps for getting a simulator app to run
           (for Mac)

In the steps below, replace "VirtualScope" with the name of the app you're trying to get to run (e.g. VirtualAmplifier, Geiger, Lab11A13, etc.)

                 | 1. If you get the message "VirtualScope can't be opened because it is from an unidentifed developer", then: a) right-click (or control-click) the application and choose “Open”, and b) Click the “Open” button at the next dialog warning to launch the app anyway. |

                 | 2. If instead you get the message "The application 'VirtualScope' can't be opened" (a common problem with Mac OS Catalina), follow the instructions here. |
